I promise I didn't try to convince students to write about their teacher. While most kids wrote about a family member or a friend, it was sweet to see that a few kids think their teacher is worth more than gold :). Looking at their drawings, I can see why my mom used to call me Olive Oyl (Popeye's girlfriend):

I had a nice time with my family at my nephew's first birthday party.
Both he and my newest nephew are growing so fast!

I managed to have a not-so-bad-hair-day despite it being a cold and blustery day...
